About This Blog

In Mr. Smith's Cardinal Newman HS English class, Senior students spent much of the third quarter exploring issues related to women and men in society while reading Bedford St. Martin's Rereading America chapter on gender. Students were challenged to write a brief essay analyzing representations of masculinity and femininity in some work of popular culture. The student essays here are not perfectly polished essays, but represent their best work after five or more drafts.
